Honoring the Vedic tradition of knowledge. Every year, on the July full moon—the fullest moon of the year—Maharishi celebrated and honored the Vedic tradition of knowledge, represented by his Master, Guru Dev, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math. The term "Gu" means ignorance and the term "Ru" means to dispel; thus, "Guru" is one who dispels, who eliminates ignorance. These days are used to deepen the experience of the inner Self and to enliven the value of the spiritual guide during the auspicious days of nature dedicated to this purpose.
This Guru Purnimah Assembly runs from July 25 to August 1.
This tradition is part of the activities of the Transcendental Meditation Movement, and these days are celebrated all over the world. The attitude of turning inward rather than outward intensifies and is what predominates during this time.
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to experience these days, to turn inward rather than outward, and to immerse yourself in Pure Consciousness with greater intensity and well-being than we do every day throughout the year.

Maharishi Continental Capital
The Maharishi Continental Capital is a new, modern Vastu complex, situated at an altitude of about 1,000 meters in a stunning mountainous setting known as the “Switzerland of Minas Gerais,” approximately an hour and a half from Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo. A hidden gem in the state of Minas Gerais, where nature unfolds in all its splendor, near the majestic mountains of the Serra da Mantiqueira.

Program: There will be a specific rounding program for sidhas and another for meditators. All under the supervision of a TM-Sidhi Administrators (Prof. Richard + Janine). Also, there will be online recitations by Maharishi Vedic Pandits during specific celebrations.
Knowledge: Spiritual Development Course and Introduction to Maharishi AyurVeda Course. In addition to this, there will be live streams to follow the coronation of the new Rajas, the launch of Maharaja’s new book, and the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards to individuals who have dedicated their lives to Maharishi's Movement.
Day 27: Coronation Ceremony for the New Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace
The title of Raja is the name Maharishi bestowed upon the senior officials who coordinate the Transcendental Meditation (TM) organization’s programs worldwide. The Rajyabhishek is the traditional coronation ceremony, rooted in Vedic tradition, that marks their appointment. It is a way of recognizing those who have decided to dedicate their time to the work of creating peace.
The Rajyabhishek program will take place from July 20 and culminate on July 27 with the coronation of the new Rajas, along with the Mothers of the Domains and the Raj Rajeshwaris, who assume responsibilities in supporting Maharishi’s global programs for peace and development.
Day 29: Celebration of Guru Purnimah.
In honor of the eternal Vedic tradition of Knowledge
Guru Purnimah is a day, celebrated throughout the Vedic tradition, to express gratitude toward the teachers. Presided over by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, the celebration forms the heart of the Assembly.
On July 29 at 9:55 a.m. CEST, participants from around the world will gather in gratitude to honor Guru Dev and the Holy Tradition of the Vedic Masters, the lineage of teachers from whom this knowledge originates. The celebration includes a global puja to Guru Dev (a traditional ceremony of gratitude) and Vedic recitations led by Maharishi’s Vedic pandits.
Since the Muhurta time—the most auspicious time for the start of the celebration—is too early for Brazil, the celebration will be offered on a delayed basis.
