Maharaja on Maharishi's Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita—Chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10—English
For advanced practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, Sidhas, and Governors, primarily from Latin America and the Caribbean
The Bhagavad-Gita is the Light of Life, lit by God at the altar of man, to save humanity from the darkness of ignorance and suffering It is a scripture which outlives time, and can be acknowledged as indispensable to the life of any man in any age. It is the encyclopedia of life and this commentary provides an index to it.
Maharishi, 1965
These seminars cover Chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10 of the Bhagavad Gita, as commented on by Maharishi and analyzed by Maharaja in recorded tapes. The Bhagavad Gita is the essence and the pocket-sized version of the Veda; it conveys Lord Krishna’s teachings to Arjuna through a dialogue between the two, in which Arjuna questions Krishna about the dilemmas he faces as he prepares to fight against loved ones in a war. Through this dialogue, Krishna leads Arjuna to a state of full enlightenment. Considered one of humanity’s most important texts, Maharishi believes it has been misinterpreted for centuries and attributes the current state of the world to this misinterpretation.
It is recommended that you first read Maharishi’s commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, chapters 1 through 6.
The six systems of Indian philosophy cover all the Philosophies that might ever come to human mind. All those six systems of philosophy in their great details of content are found in one verse, two lines, of Bhagavad Gita
