The daily duration of the recitations can be 4 to 5 hours. Meditators will also be able to enjoy "rounding" with yoga asanas and pranayama.

With the dawn of each day, a different quality of nature is enlivened within us.
Each day is influenced by the movement of the planets, the stars, the entire galactic universe, and it is the laws of nature that give direction to time: each day, each hour, each minute, each second.
All the laws of nature are described in the ancient Vedic texts as Devata, impulses of creative intelligence, present in every grain of creation. These values of creative intelligence are presented in the Vedic Calendar as illustrative figures.
For example, the day with the quality of creative intelligence expressed as Mahalakshmi, an aspect of Mother Divine Divine, is associated with the quality of fullness, abundance, infinite intelligence, and creativity that constitutes the nature of the Unified Field, which governs the evolution of life throughout the cosmos. Similarly, at the change of season, for nine days, a different quality of nature is enlivened each day and corresponds to a quality of Mother Divine. This is known as Navaratri. We all notice that there is a different quality in the atmosphere at the changes of season.
Every day is a celebration in the Vedic Calendar. Each day is different from the other: the sunrise, the sunset, the phases of the moon, the influence of the planets, and the influence of the stars near and far.
The values of Creative Intelligence celebrated in the Vedic Calendar are the Intelligence of Nature that characterizes the specific qualities of the days, months, and seasonal changes.
